Beyza SariogluHead of Electrification Technology Business Unit, North America at Vitesco Technologies
Beyza Sarioglu is the Head of Electrification Technology business unit in North America. She has held this position since February 2018. In this role, Sarioglu is responsible for the formulation of business strategy and operational goal setting for the Business Unit for the North American market.
Since joining the company in January 2001, Sarioglu has held numerous leadership positions within the company. Sarioglu started her career at Vitesco Technologies, Continental’s former powertrain division, as a Senior Software Engineer within the Engine Systems business unit. In 2011, Sarioglu went on delegation to Shanghai, China for three years where she served as the company’s Head of Business Development for the Transmission business unit. She also served as the Global Head of General Motors Customer Center within the Engine Systems business unit.
Sarioglu began her distinguished career in the automotive sector with Valeo as a Design Engineer in advanced driver assistance systems in 1998. Most recently, she was recognized as one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ Notable Women in STEM.
Sarioglu earned her master’s degree in Software Engineering from Oakland University and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Anatolia University, in Eskisehir, Turkey.
