In the winter of 2016, Manish Mehrotra was named director of digital business planning and connected operations. Mehrotra’s organization is charged with leading collaboration across Hyundai Motor America divisions to identify, implement and operate technologies. These technologies, including the well-acclaimed Hyundai Blue Link® connected car platform, provide Hyundai products, services and processes with a competitive advantage in the market.
Mehrotra previously served as the senior group manager of digital business and connected operations for Hyundai Motor America from 2015 – 2016. In this role, he was responsible for heading the enterprise owner experience, technical operations for vehicle telematics, technical management of owner platform/APPs and business analysis for legacy systems.

Prior to his time at Hyundai, he held managerial roles at Mitsubishi Motors North America for seven years prior to which he was a consultant there for about three years and introduced several processes to improve operations. Mehrotra started his career in 1992 as a consultant in financial services industry and was assigned to American Express until 2001 where he became the subject matter expert in the global financial settlement system. He also served at Accenture from 2001-2002.
He received his Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics – Honors) as one of the top ten graduates from Nagpur University in India, and earned his Master of Business Administration (Honors) from UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles, California and was inducted as an EMBA honor society member reserved for the top 15 percent of the graduating class.
