Ed comes from a commercial insurance background where he developed a number of successful products which used risk management technologies to reduce accident frequencies.
Ed saw an opportunity to use similar risk management techniques to develop a way of offering responsible young people a method of demonstrating their safe driving ability through telematics technology. In response, he helped form Carrot Insurance in 2011.
Carrot is a leading UK telematics insurance brand which uses a combination of meaningful rewards and proactive risk management interventions to offer UK young drivers a much more engaging and rewarding alternative to traditional (boring) auto insurance. Since launch, it has won many industry awards.
