Ariel Wolf joins us at TU-Automotive Detroit 2020 as a speaker on Understanding the Impact of Increasing Levels of Autonomy on Cyber Risks.
Ariel Wolf leads Venable LLP’s Mobility and Transportation Technology team and is also a member of the firm’s eCommerce, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Group. Ariel helps manufacturers, tech providers, and suppliers navigate the emerging legal and policy landscape being transformed by AVs, CVs, and other mobility tech. He serves as counsel to the Self-Driving Coalition for Safer Streets, comprised of leading AV companies seeking to advance federal and state policy priorities for fully self-driving vehicles. Ariel returned to Venable after serving as Counselor to the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Transportation, where he launched the DOT's new Non-traditional and Emerging Transportation Technology Council, developed policies and regulations governing AVs, drones, and hyperloop, and oversaw efforts on spectrum policy and space. He previously was a senior policy advisor in the U.S. Senate. Ariel received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his BA from Harvard College.
