Blake EmeryDirector, Differentiation Strategy at Boeing Commercial Airlines
As Director of Differentiation Strategy for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Blake Emery is responsible for ensuring a preference for the Boeing passenger experience. He leads research with the flying public across cultures to support interior and exterior airplane design and development. He holds a variety of design patents associated with airplane configuration, both interior and exterior as well as seat design, and a few associated with watch and jewelry design. Blake was previously the Director of Organization Development for Boeing Commercial Airplanes Product Development.
He has been featured in several documentaries, including “The Age of Aerospace” (Dreamliner segment), “City in the Sky” (PBS), and Vamos/LATAM’s “A Beleza de Voar” (The Beauty of Flying).
Blake holds a Masters Degree in Communication with a speciality in interpersonal psychology from the University of Washington. He is an avid practitioner of Taijiquan and enjoys playing guitar.
