Christopher Emmanuel is the Director of Autonomous Florida. On behalf of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, he advocates for transportation, utilities, energy, and technology policy at the local, state, and federal levels. Emmanuel sits on the Florida Transportation Plan and Strategic Intermodal System Committee of the Florida Department of Transportation, the U.S. Chamber’s Autonomous Vehicle Working Group, and is a member of the James Madison Institute’s Board of Advisors.
Prior to the Florida Chamber, Emmanuel served as a Policy Advisor on emerging transportation issues for Governor Rick Scott’s administration and Governor Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign. Emmanuel writes and occasionally lectures on autonomous policy. Emmanuel holds a B.A from the University of Florida and J.D. from the Florida State College of Law. He is a member of the Federalist Society, an alumnus of Florida Blue Key, and is admitted into the Florida Bar. He tweets at @ChrisEmmanuelFL.
