Eran Netanel, VP of Engineering, Automotive for Aeris joins us at TU-Automotive Detroit 2020 as a Panellist on The Software Defined Vehicle.
Eran Netanel is an inventor, entrepreneur and technologist with more than 25 years of experience building technology and teams that reshape legacy industries. As VP of Engineering, Automotive at Aeris, a leading IoT software provider for global Fortune 500 companies, Eran is leveraging his deep experience in cybersecurity, mobile networking, and edge and cloud computing technologies to help transform the automotive sector. Together with his team, Eran architected, built and launched the Aeris Mobility Suite, a best-in-class, end-to-end, cloud-agnostic IoT product suite that is helping automotive OEMs like Volkswagen and Mitsubishi to deploy cutting-edge connected vehicle programs—including car sharing, on-demand services, and over-the-air feature upgrades—in record time. Prior to Aeris, Eran served as CTO and VP Engineering for several startups and public companies where he led teams to develop real-time mobile data services and embedded solutions for the largest mobile network operators. A veteran of the Israeli Intelligence Community Eran holds more than 10 patents in mobile and automotive categories and an Honors degree from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He lives in Silicon Valley with his wife and children.
