Michael Mikos is chief financial officer and director of business development of car2go N.A., LLC, a role he assumed in July, 2015. In this role, Mikos is responsible for the financial management and expansion of car2go’s business in North America. He reports directly to car2go N.A. president and chief executive officer Paul DeLong.

Prior to his appointment as CFO, Mikos served as director of strategic development, assuming that role in March, 2013. He was responsible for the development car2go’s city launches across North America and managed the development and integration of new Daimler mobility products. Mikos also built strategic partnerships and investments throughout the North American mobility market.

Prior to joining car2go, Mikos was project manager of revenue enhancement for Daimler Trucks of North America, where he wore multiple hats from marketing and sales to financial analysis since assuming that role in 2009. From 2008 to 2009, Mikos served as district sales manager, where he was responsible for sales of Sterling Trucks through direct dealer and customer contacts in the Southern Region. Prior to that, he served as national sales support manager, leading sales operations projects, and was also a financial product analyst for Daimler Trucks of North America.

Before joining Daimler Trucks of North America, Mikos worked at Navistar International – formerly International Harvester – as an operations finance and activity-based management analyst, developing and implementing financial models at manufacturing sites and conducting analyses that helped identify operational efficiencies.

Mr. Mikos has an M.B.A. in Finance from DePaul University’s Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, as well as a B.S. in Actuarial Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
