Schuyler Burson is the Manager of ADAS and Functional Safety at Roush Industries. In this role, Schuyler has built a team with a focus on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, provided functional safety consulting services to multiple organizations within the automotive industry, developed testing processes and systems for the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries, and has supported traditional and electric vehicle powertrain programs through the implementations of improved software and electronic hardware development & validation processes. In his previous roles, he has worked in safety system design and development in the automotive industry in Europe, as well as in the Avionics industry in the United States following the DO-178C guidelines. He has previously earned degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Grand Valley State University and Oakland University, and is currently performing research for his Ph.D. at Oakland University.
