INTERVIEW WITH ADAM HUDSON, SHORTLISTED FOR RISING STAR OF THE YEAR, UNDER 40

Thanks Adam for taking the time to speak with us.

ABOUT ADAM HUDSON

Adam Hudson, Vice President and General Manager, U.S. Connected Car, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, leads a new venture started by LexisNexis <Insurance> that is dedicated to developing and driving adoption of insurance telematics and automotive OEM data and analytics solutions in the US.

I take a lot of pride in how this business has grown and developed over a very short period of time. In particular, I am delighted to see the individuals of my team really demonstrate a prowess in the space that we are creating. So, I think that my most proud moment comes from watching my folks “in their element,” and in particular, I am thinking about our most recent Customer Advisory Meeting. Each year, LexisNexis Risk Solutions hosts a private event for the insurance and automotive industries, and my business has our own forum on topics that represent the intersection between these two great markets. This past year, my business played host to over 200 people representing a majority of insurance carriers and automakers, and they were all there to interact with and learn from members of my team. That’s huge.

I’m just one voice, and I did not, and cannot build my business by myself. Seeing my team play host to representatives from two of the biggest industries in our economy, after just two short years of really hard work, is a tangible representation of our momentum and one of my most proud moments in my career.
